There are known issues between Microsoft Office 2016 and Mac OS Sierra. To alleviate some of those issues, if you are running Sierra, you should upgrade to the latest updated version of the OS. Please see the support article at Microsoft for updates. I have VMWare Fusion installed and had Office 2010 installed in Fusion. Uninstalled Office 2010 from Windows ( in Fusion ). Deleted the related Office 2010 apps that showed up under the /Applications folder in OS X Sierra. Uninstalled Office 2011 for Mac ( deleted the office 2011 apps from the /Applications folder in OS X Sierra ). I have a new 27-inch iMac on which I installed Office 365 for Mac 2016 v.15.27. I'm running Sierra OS 10.12.1. Outlook works fine. I am able to use other MS Office apps (specifically Word, PowerPont and Excel) as long as the document/s I'm working on reside on the iMac. I can drag/drop saved files to/from my network server without a problem. However, I cannot open, edit or save files directly on my network server. When I try, the app I'm using freezes, the spinning wheel of death appears and the Finder becomes unresponsive. I have to do a hard restart in order to regain functionality. All my Adobe CS-CC apps are working great when editing files that reside on the server. It's only the Office 365 apps that won't play nice. ![]() Free download page borders art. Any solutions?
